WGBH will not willfully disclose any personally identifiable information about our online users to any third party without first receiving the user's permission, unless required by law. The adoptionfilm.org Web site only collects personally identifiable information (such as your name, address, E-mail address, telephone number, and/or other identifying information) from our visitors on a voluntary basis. Under certain circumstances, if you choose not to voluntarily submit requested information, you may not be able to engage in certain activities — e.g., making certain kinds of donations, submitting a photo online, signing up for E-mail updates — for which personally identifiable information is needed.

- You will not use an E-mail address of another person with the intent to impersonate that person
- You will not use the E-mail address in which another person has rights without that person's authorization
- Information on Program Funders and Anonymous Donors: Federal law requires us to provide upon request the names of individual funders of the broadcast program. Donation amounts and contact information will not be shared. Since anonymous donors cannot be identified as program funders, anonymous donations must be used solely for non-broadcast expenses related to the program, such as educational outreach to schools and libraries across the country, development of a companion program Web site, promotion and advertising.
Secure Credit Card Transactions
The adoptionfilm.org Web site offers you the convenience of making contributions via credit card. WGBH utilizes state-of-the-art measures on adoptionfilm.org to ensure credit card account information security and to secure any information from your computer to our server. WGBH will always provide a clear and convenient method of unsubscribing to our E-mailings. You can unsubscribe at any time by going to adoptionfilm.org's Contact us page. We will update our records as soon as possible. Or you can follow the unsubscribe directions included in every E-mail message we send. If you have already unsubscribed from adoptionfilm.org E-mails, rest assured that we will continue to honor your request.
We may contact you, if you have given us your contact information, to ask you if you would like us to share your name and contact information with your local public broadcasting station, to obtain further information about Adoption: An American Revolution or other public television projects.
